New interview feature

I’m delighted to share that I’ve recently been featured in an in-depth interview with The Real Edit exploring my personal healing journey, the heart behind W·I·L·D® Wellbeing, and the deeper philosophy that shapes my work today.

The piece touches on my experiences growing up in Belfast during the Troubles, navigating anxiety and chronic fatigue, and how reconnecting with Nature, animals, and the wisdom of the body gradually changed the way I understood health, healing, and wellbeing.

We explore the foundations of W·I·L·D® – Wonder · Intuition · Loving ourselves · Dancing with Life – and the importance of learning to listen to our bodies with curiosity rather than fear.

It also shares reflections on:

  • the connection between trauma, symptoms, and the nervous system
  • why I believe symptoms often carry meaningful messages
  • creating spaces where people feel safe to reconnect with themselves
  • finding my voice through speaking and writing Take a Walk on the W·I·L·D® Side

One of the quotes from the interview which feels especially important is:

“So many of us have been taught to fear our own bodies, our symptoms, and even our emotions, when in reality they are often speaking a very intelligent language.”

I’m incredibly grateful for the care and depth with which this piece was written, and I hope it offers insight, reassurance, and perhaps a different way of seeing wellbeing and healing.
