Reconnecting with Ourselves in a Noisy World
What happens when we stop seeing ourselves as problems to be fixed and start listening more deeply to what our bodies, emotions and experiences might be trying to tell us?
That was one of the themes I explored in a recent conversation with Sam Marshall on The World According to Sam Marshall podcast.
We talked about the story behind W·I·L·D®, my own healing journey, and how life’s challenges can become invitations to rediscover who we really are.
The conversation explores:
• How wonder and curiosity can be powerful tools for wellbeing
• The importance of reconnecting with our intuition and inner wisdom
• How modern life can disconnect us from ourselves
• Learning to respond to life with greater awareness and self-compassion
• Why symptoms, emotions and challenges may have more to tell us than we realise
One of the messages at the heart of the discussion is that no one knows your life, your experiences or your body quite like you do. While professional support has its place, there is also value in learning to trust ourselves, listen more deeply, and reconnect with our own inner knowing.
Wellbeing is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering who we are beneath the overwhelm, self-doubt and conditioning which may have accumulated over time.
If you’ve ever felt disconnected from yourself, frustrated by conflicting advice, or sensed there must be another way of approaching wellbeing, I hope you’ll enjoy the conversation.
And if you tune in, I’d love to know what sticks with you the most 😊
